Homemade Black Pudding Recipe Recipe.


Ingredients:


500ml pig's blood
250g pork fat, finely diced
200g oatmeal
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp dried marjoram
1/2 tsp mace


Recipe Instructions:


Soak the oatmeal in water for several hours until soft.
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
Fill the mixture into sausage casings, tying off to create individual puddings.
Boil the puddings in water for about 90 minutes.
Cool the puddings, then refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.
Fry or grill slices of black pudding as required for recipes.
