Ploughman's Lunch Recipe.


Ingredients:


A selection of cheeses (such as Cheddar, Stilton, and Red Leicester), sliced or cubed
Cold cooked ham or roast beef, sliced
Hard-boiled eggs, halved
Pickled onions
Branston pickle (a tangy vegetable chutney)
Pickled gherkins
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Crusty bread or rolls
Butter, for spreading
Salad leaves (optional, for serving)
Apple slices (optional, for serving)


Recipe Instructions:


Prepare the Components:

Arrange the cheese slices or cubes on a serving platter or individual plates.
Place the slices of cold cooked ham or roast beef alongside the cheese.
Arrange the hard-boiled egg halves on the platter.
Add a handful of pickled onions and pickled gherkins to the platter.
Spoon a generous portion of Branston pickle onto the platter.
Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes around the other components.

Assemble the Ploughman's Lunch:

Place a stack of crusty bread or rolls on the platter.
Provide butter for spreading on the bread.
