Acton Restaurant Fire Under Investigation

Earlier this month (06/01), a restaurant fire in Acton prompted a robust response from around 70 firefighters. The incident unfolded on Acton High Street, triggering the dispatch of fire crews not only from Acton itself but also from Ealing, Chiswick, Hammersmith, and neighboring fire stations.

The fire had taken hold in the basement of an end-of-terrace building, which housed a restaurant along with flats above. The emergency call was made at 11:49, leading to the swift arrival of the firefighting teams. Fortunately, one individual had evacuated the premises before the Brigade's arrival, and there were no reported injuries.

With concerted efforts from the firefighters, the situation was successfully brought under control by 13:57. Ten fire engines were actively involved in containing and extinguishing the restaurant fire on Acton's bustling High Street.

As the aftermath unfolds, the investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway, with authorities diligently working to determine the factors that led to the incident.
